Onboarding & paperwork

Pre-exchange checks & enquiries
Once the buyer’s solicitor raises enquiries and searches, we will handle responses, make sure all issues are addressed, and keep you updated. When everything is ready, we will send the final contract to you for approval and signature.
Exchange of contracts & completion
When all parties are aligned and the chain is ready, you will exchange contracts, which makes the sale legally binding. On completion day, we will coordinate the transfer of funds, handle mortgage redemption if needed, and arrange for the keys to be handed over. Then we will return your sale proceeds promptly.
How long does it take?
From accepted offer to completion, the average seller’s conveyancing process runs around 12 to 16 weeks.
However, timing can vary based on:
- How quickly paperwork is returned.
- Delays in mortgage valuation or survey.
- Waiting on leasehold packs from managing agents.
- Additional enquiries or missing information.
- Timing in the chain if others are delayed.
